The Women’s Chugach TR rain gear system earns its keep on tough unsupported backcountry hunts when staying dry, covering miles of country, and keeping overall gear weight to a minimum are crucial.
Built with an outer layer fit, the Women’s Chugach TR Rain Pant is ideally worn over a base layer and an insulating mid layer or over your hunting pant, all in your same measured size.
The design goal was a packable rain gear system with durability for extreme mountain hunts, plus excellent breathability and stretch to keep hunters comfortable even at elevated levels of exertion. This full-featured rain pant includes an adjustable waist with built-in belt, full-length side zippers for easy on/off and ventilation, articulated knees for unrestricted performance, gusseted crotch for mobility, and Bemis overlay film scuff guards for added durability.
The seams in any garment add weight, introduce potential failure points, and are less water resistant. The new Chugach TR leverages a strategic build to eliminate seams wherever possible. This streamlined design is more durable, lighter weight, and has less bulk while packed away.
Featuring comfortable 4-way stretch Primeflex Nylon fabric, the Chugach TR does not restrict your movements, keeping you free to step over downed timber and climb in steep terrain.
