Best Use: Packable Warmth
Unlike typical down insulated jackets that use a shiny face fabric, the Super Down LT features a dull, matte finish for improved concealment. Super Down LT’s fabric beads water and resists saturation thanks to the K-DWR water resistant treatment. The fabric takes on very little moisture and dries quickly after extreme use.
The Super Down LT is sized with a mid-layer fit, so it comfortably layers over a base layer and mid-layer fleece, yet it’s trim enough to layer under our rain gear in the same size. The jacket features a new two-stage packability system. It self-stows in the right-hand pocket, with enough room to also stow the Super Down LT Pant. In this configuration it doubles as a comfortable camp pillow. If pack space is limited, a secondary cinch can be used to compress the jacket to half the stowed size.
